The Museum situated in the historic district of Boston exhibits the City’s  history and development.  Designed in the traditional palazzo style, the museum is situated on the second floor of the building and is planned to allow a natural circulation through a variety of unique and engaging spaces.  The architecture itself celebrates the classical vernacular both inside and out, using its language to reflect that which was first associated with democracy and a national identity in the United States.  The project explores the concepts of complex spatial progression and conforming to irregular site plans while maximizing usage of space.
